Examining some of the quality of life questionnaire (e.g. EuroQol, McMaster, IHQL, QALY Toolkit, 15 D), one can observe they are built up for measuring health state of normal people compared with ''normality'', the absence of illness. Quid has been developed to specifically measure the quality of life of disabled persons, using assistive devices, needing some help from assistants, but not for this being unhealthy. The target group is the disabled population more than 18 years old, dealing with every kind of disability, except those evidentiating major cognitive problems. The scale is intended as a self administration one, but when dealing with severe disable people with motor or communication disabilities, no problem exist if an assistant reads the sentences and the items and translate the disabled's answer on the paper.
