Hierarchical synthesis of fault trees for distributed systems

摘要
We study fault trees, whose input indicator variables are the fault tree outputs (top events) of underlying cluster connectivity problems, which in turn are based on fault trees of point-to-point connectivity problems, also known as source-target (s,t-) problems. The three-step hierarchical construction process of the over-all fault tree is described and discussed.
