New genera of brachyceran flies (Diptera: Xylomyidae and Apsilocephalidae sensu auctorum) from mid-Cretaceous Hukawng Valley Burmese amber

Two new genera and species from the family Xylomyidae: Pankowskia primera, gen. et sp. nov., Cretarthropeina perdita gen. et sp. nov., and one genus and species incerlac sedis, closely related to the family Apsilocephalidae: Kuhwahldyia indefinita gen. et sp. nov. are described from mid-Cretaceous Hukawng Valley Burmese amber. A male Xylomyidae is described for the first time from this amber. The systematic position of each new taxon is discussed.
