摘要
In the paper, differential search algorithm (DSA) was proposed and used to solve the optimal power flow (OPF) problem of power system. DSA has a special search mechanism which is different from other intelligent optimization algorithms: its search motion is not completely guided by the optimal solution and its optimization process is simple and efficient. So it is very suitable for dealing with large-scale complex nonlinear OPF of power system. This paper establishes a multi-objective OPF model, taking into account the economic and environmental factors simultaneously. And the fuzzy weighted evaluation method is introduced to turn the multiple objective problem into a single objective problem, and coordinated optimization between two objectives is realized. The proposed DSA is applied to computing the optimal power flow of the standard IEEE30 bus system. By comparing with the GA and PSO algorithms, we find that the proposed DSA has higher solution quality and convergence stability.
