摘要
The objectives of this study were: to obtain a better spatial arrangement of common bean line FT 3499 for mechanized harvest and to quantify common bean yield in relation to the percentual of plant cover. This experiment was carried out with irrigation in Cristalina, GO, in the winter crop, on a yellow oxisol. The experimental design was a complete randomized blocks, with three replications. The two main plots were the genotypes Carioca and FT 3499 with contrasting growth habits. The sub-plots consisted of five row spacings (0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6 m) and the sub-subplots consisted of four plant density (5, 10, 15 and 20 plants. m(-1)). Ground cover by canopy was sampled in four growing periods, at 36, 42, 49 and 72 days after emergence by digital images. At maturity, grain yield was evaluated and correlation analysis were carried out for sampling. The narrow spacing had significant positive values for FT 3499, of upright habitat. There was no effect for density. The positive correlation for yield and ground cover of FT 3499 genotype, 36 days after emergence, indicates the need for early canopy by appropriate plant distribution.
