Optical radiation dynamics in optical fibers with nonlinear intermode coupling

摘要
The possibility of creation of a waveguiding medium with intermode coupling depending on the intensity of radiation introduced into the optical fiber is studied. It is shown that soliton-like pulses and nonlinear regimes of self-compression in the visible and ultraviolet spectral ranges in the case of a normal dispersion of group velocities can be formed in these structures.
