摘要
The level of urban land intensive use is related to how to plan the urban land us. LIDAR (LIght Detection And Ranging) data are a primary data source for digital terrain model (DTM) generation and 3D city models. This paper presents a three-stage framework for a robust automatic urban land intensive use assessment based on raw LIDAR data. In the first stage the raw data are classified to vegetations, buildings and so on. In the second stage, 100*100 meters cell are created, 3d house-land index and vegetation-land index are computed and stored in each cell. In the third stage, create thematic map of urban land intensive use assessment. Finally, one LiDAR datasets gathered over the city of Xuzhou, Jiangsu province (China) with Optech airborne laser scanning systems, are shown to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed approach.
