Surface-roughness and intracollisional field effect in quantum wires under high electric fields

摘要
The effects of a homogeneous electric field on surface-roughness scattering are studied nonperturbatively for a square-well quantum wire. Within the Kadanoff-Baym-Keldysh theory of nonequilibrium statistical mechanics, we extend the Airy-transform technique developed for the three-dimensional electron gas, to study a dynamical one-dimensional electron system. Dyson's equation is solved analytically in the Lowest Born Approximations. Results for the gauge-invariant density-of-states are reported.
