摘要
This study was to present a systematic approach to identify the critical safety issues to be considered for fire and explosion risk assessment of LNG fuelled ship design. The characteristics of key parameters such as probability of ignition, leak frequency, congestion level and deluge effect described in the generic methodologies which can be applied for fire & explosion analysis for gas fuelled ships were defined and classified including input data and assumptions. The identified key parameters were compared with required input information for offshore explosion analysis based on commercial tools. The effect of each parameter on explosion results and the uncertainty of analysis using commercial approaches were summarized with case studies.
