VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS FOR UNAM'S TEACHERS. TOWARDS INNOVATION

This paper presents the project Tu Aula Virtual (Your Virtual Classroom). It is a digital space developed in Moodle, offered to teachers at the National Autonomous University of Mexico so they can have one or more virtual classrooms as a support for their face to face classes and as a way for monitoring tasks prepared by their students. In addition to showing and describing what is Your Virtual Classroom and how it works, we consider of interest to other colleagues to present here a review of the different ways in which it has been used this virtual classrooms, as well as the digital tools that teachers have integrated and implemented around it. Given the high number of classrooms in our project, we will present one of the existing categories in Your Virtual Classroom, specifically the classrooms of the Escuela Nacional Preparatoria (ENP) (one of the two high school programs of UNAM) considering a sample of virtual classrooms used during the last year. The experience presented in this project may be of interest to other colleagues from different educational institutions that need to update and adapt the educational processes to the needs of today's society.
