摘要：
Recognizing the significant impacts of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic for early-career researchers (ECRs), the Australian Society for Parasitology Inc. organized an online conference 'Parasitravaganza 2020' on 30-31 July this year for ECRs to connect, present their research, and participate in career-focused workshops. In this TrendsTalk we invite the organizing committee to discuss some of the highlights of the meeting and some of the challenges and opportunities presented by online conferences.
