摘要
The domestic violence seems to be one of the important problems that modern society is facing lately. The public policies should look for solutions meant to improve the socio-economic conditions and should also take steps in rethinking the place given to women in the present society. It is important for the public policies to ensure the economic and financial independence of the abused women. The present paper seeks to identify potential measures to be taken by the public authorities to reduce the domestic violence phenomenon and to find measures that can protect the abused women from the economic and social point of view, to offer them the chance to be re-included on the labour market.
