The presence of myelomeningocele at multiple levels along the spinal column is extremely rare. There are only a few cases of double myelomeningocele reported in the literature. We report the case of a newborn male who had two myelomeningoceles with one at the cervical level and the other at the lumbar level. This unusual case report,as well as a review of the literature is presented. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
