摘要
The volume of operation data collected in manufacturing is growing, and big data offers a tremendous opportunity in transformation of todays manufacturing modes to intelligent manufacturing styles. Big data empowers companies to adopt data-driven strategies to become more competitive. In this article, we discuss the role of big data and their adaptive ways of methods in supporting smart manufacturing, and overview the manufacturing lifecycle of equipments and machines. We also propose an intelligent data interactive softeware framework in the automotive production area.
