The effect of saturation of the acceptor levels on the angular intensity distribution of photoinduced light scattering in photorefractive crystals

摘要
It is shown that saturation of the acceptor levels of a compensating impurity in electrooptic photorefractive crystals has a strong effect on the formation of the angular distribution of photoinduced light scattering. Using the barium strontium niobate crystal as an example, the dependence of the angular position of the maximum of the distribution on the degree of saturation is analyzed both for the diffusion mechanism and the drift mechanism of recording noisy phase gratings.
