摘要
This chapter gives an overview of output feedback stabilizability and stabilization of linear multidimensional (n-D) discrete systems. The emphasis is on multi-input-multi-output systems and the matrix fraction description approach. The discussion will focus on three topics: 1. Stabilizability. Determine whether a given linear n-D system is output feedback stabilizable. 2. Stabilization. Construct a stabilizing compensator for a stabilizable system. 3. Parametrization. Parametrize all stabilizing compensators for a stabilizable system. After reviewing the progress and the state of the art in these topics, a number of related issues are briefly mentioned. Some open problems are then posed at the end of the chapter.
