摘要
In the paper factors that should be considered when planning Wind Power Station (WPS) investment were discussed. These factors affecting the final effect of investment are the average annual speed, roughness of the terrain, the Weibull distribution function, a wind turbulence amount and a level of grid infrastructure. Analysis of these factors help to find the final turbine selection which precise fundamental WPS parameters as: nominal power of turbine, rated speed of wind and tower height. However, decision about wind power investment requires multivariable economic analysis. In the paper Financial and Economic Balance results were computed for three variants of electrical energy prices raises. The received final results show the Return on Investment Time depending on average annual wind speed and energy prices. The discussed problems emphasize that the most rational solution should be found by verifying the computed financial results for specially selected different technical options.
