摘要：
The predominant raw material for pulp and paper products are wood fibres, the properties of which can be manipulated using biological catalysts known as enzymes. The present review explores the potential for enzymatic enhancement of processing efficiency and end-product quality. Some of these enzyme applications have been industrially implemented, while others have only been conceptualised and therefore require further development.
