摘要
The Internet as well as social networks substantially affected the way especially schoolchildren spend their free time. The aim of the research was to determine potential Internet addiction in students. The research sample consisted of students of Slovak secondary professional schools. Standardized questionnaires were used. The final questionnaire was divided into three parts. In the first part, we were collecting general information on each student: age, place of residence, type of secondary school's specialisation, etc. The second part of the questionnaire was designed to determine risk Internet addiction of secondary school students (the Internet Addiction Test by Dr. Young was used). The aim was to detect significant differences between the following: risk addiction- age, addiction - place of residence etc.
