摘要
This paper describes the flexural behaviour of two-span reinforced concrete composite beams. The behaviour of continuous composite beams with embedded steel sections and the efficiency load factor of the composite action were studied. The tested beams were divided into two groups, first group contains five beams. The first beam BS was a rolled-steel section which was embedded in all other beams of the second group. The other four beams had cross-section 16*25 cm with a reinforcement ratio varies between the minimum reinforcement ratio, the maximum reinforcement ratio, and also over reinforcement. The second group was tested to investigate the effect of the longitudinal reinforcement ratio on the composite section. This group consists of four beams with embedded rolled steel section in each beam and longitudinal reinforcement as in the first group. The experimental results were compared with the analytical results obtained from computer program called Accurate Section Analysis and Design.
