摘要
In India Renewable energy generation has experienced rapid growth in last few years. According to Ministry of New and Renewable Energy report as on 2013-14 solar capacity was 2,630 MW which has been increased by us er 8 times in the last 4 years and as on 31 May 2018 capacity is 22,329.39 MW out of w hich 21118.64 MW is of ground mounted. Selection of the best converter is one of the challenges since it has an impact on behavior of PV panel; and DC to DC converters are also used to maximize the energy harvested from Photovoltaic system. This paper presents design and simulation on MATLAB of various converter topologies such as Boost, CUK, SEPIC, and F4back converter which are used to achieve the needed voltage level on grid output. The advantages and disadvantages of these converters are also discussed. This simulation can be used for assessing the best topology of cons erter in PS' applications.
