摘要
A polarization-insensitive absorber for wideband applications is presented in this paper. This proposed absorber can cover the entire X-band and partially in C-band and Ku- band. It contains a symmetric resistive patch on the upper surface of the substrate, and the bottom of it is entirely covered with copper. This proposed design has only 2.4 mm thickness. It is found that the absorber can absorb the signals from 7.31GHz to 16.70 GHz (nearly 9.39GHz bandwidth) with 90% absorptivity. The proposed absorber maintains the absorption at incidence angles up to 45 degrees for TE modes and up to 60 degrees for TM modes, respectively.
