A new type of horizontal in-situ water and fluid mud sampler

摘要：
Accurate sampling of fluid mud, especially in the estuarine environment, requires specific apparatus. In this note, I present a new horizontal sampling bottle, without a valve or rubber ball, which, swing to a moving tube, permits the "coring" of the fluid in which it is immersed. This bottle has proved to he useful for in situ OBS calibration. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
