摘要
We present advanced material models describing light-matter interaction for numerical simulation of nonlinear optical responses. We build the models on electron transport equations, carrier kinetics equations, and the effective dipole oscillator equation. Coupled to the Maxwell equations, they enable the study of nonlinear photonic elements such as nonlinear absorbers, optical modulators, and switches.
