摘要：

It is generally acknowledged that AM (authentic materials) play an important role in FLT (foreign language teaching), as through them students are acquainted with real language used in every day communication by native speakers. But how are these materials perceived by the students themselves? Do they find them useful, enjoyable and motivating, or rather too demanding and demotivating? The aim of this paper is to present EFL (English as foreign language) learners' opinion about the given questions. The study is based upon the evaluation of a questionnaire answered by students of Constantin the Philosopher University in Nitra.
