摘要：
One influence of globalization is that English has become a global language whether we like it or not.This paper examines the resistances and pathways when we adopt Communicative Language Teaching in teaching English in China.In order to make CLT more effective in a global context,more attention should be paid to teachers’education,students’needs and alternative assessment.
