摘要
The world-wide globalisatton phenomenon and the first pace of ICT evolution with its usability in any field have created an urgent need to adapt music education, in both music-specialist and non-music-specialist Romanian primary and secondary, schools, to the new trends and possibilities created by current technologies in the field of music. The lack of a single music technology implementation strategy at the national level, and its mention only as a guide in the music programmes issued by the National Ministry of Education, shows that it is essential to design the means, methods and strategies for its implementation. Music technology provides strong resources for achieving an updated music education in the contemporary world music context, and strong support for the attainment of the general and specific skills specified in the national music framework for both music-specialist and non-music-specialist schools. The United Kingdom is one of the countries that successfully use music technology in both primary and secondary schools, and in some aspects might be a source 01 inspiration and a model in the process of innovation that in the global music context of the 21st century is imperative.
