Improvement of the thermodynamic efficiency and compactness of technological systems by changing their structure

摘要
It is shown, using examples from various areas of chemical engineering, that it is helpful to compare the thermodynamic efficiency(or relative exergy losses)-compactness , diagrams of alternative structures of technological systems, This comparison provides a means to identify the most efficient types of structures, which are best in terms of the total combination of basic efficiency criteria of the technological systems, at the design stage.
