摘要
A short summary is given of the status and perspectives of low energy positron beams. Attention is focussed on the operational characteristics of laboratory beams and of facility based beams and on the related open technological problems. The perspectives and limitations for the use of positron techniques as an industrial analysis tool are outlined. (C) 2002 Published by Elsevier Science B.V.
