摘要
Background: The subject "Information and Communication Technologies" (ICT) has been implemented recently in the first year of the Physical Therapy Degree at University of Valencia. This subject lays the foundations of other subjects such as Biomechanics, Statistics, Research methodology or the Final Project Degree, in which ICT play an essential role for the elaboration of classwork, tasks and projects. However, these subjects are given in later courses, and in many cases, students don't remember how to use these resources. Purpose: To develop an online video tutorial repository, accessible to all Physical Therapy students at University of Valencia, to improve their computer skills. Methods: This project will be developed in two phases. During the first phase, there will be designed and created different video tutorials about image design (GIMP), video edition (Virtual Dub), office software (Microsoft Office Package), and scientific research (Zotero and Refworks). During the second phase, all this content will be incorporated in a website, which will be available to all the students. Results: Preliminary results have shown good acceptance. The adequacy of the contents was considered satisfactory in an interview carried out on students. Nevertheless, once the project is completed, a survey will be conducted on Physical Therapy students in order to measure satisfaction, usefulness and ease of use.
