Magnetic properties of Ce3 TX compounds (T = Al, In, Sn and Pb; X = C and B)

摘要
We have synthesized new ternary compounds Ce3TX (T = Al, In. Sn and Pb, X = C and B) which have a simple face-centered cubic CaO3 Ti-type structure. Magnetization measurements were performed on Ce3TX compounds up to H = 5 T in the range of T = 2.0-300 K. For Ce3TC, we found antiferromagnetic orderings and metamagnetic transitions. For Ce3TC. anomalies which might be associated with structural phase transition were observed in magnetic susceptibilities. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
