摘要
This paper analyzes a closed-form outage probability of opportunistic amplify-and-forward (AF) orthogonal frequency division multiple access (OFDMA) relaying in the presence of independent and identically distributed (i.i.d) and independent but non-identically distributed (i.n.d) fading environments. In practice, opportunistic relaying often experiences Rician fading channel, however, there is a very limited contribution on opportunistic AF OFDMA system over this fading channel. In this paper, we adopt Rician fading environment for closed-form outage probability analysis of opportunistic AF OFDMA relaying. The opportunistic AF OFDMA relaying is a relay selection process where the best relay nodes are selected based on maximum SNR per subcarrier per relay node. The opportunistic AF OFDMA relaying obtains diversity over both subcarriers and relay nodes where opportunistic AF over orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) relaying gets diversity only over relay nodes. Thus opportunistic AF OFDMA provides better outage performance over opportunistic AF OFDM and opportunistic AF single carrier relaying. The analytical outage probability is validated through Monte-Carlo simulations at high SNR regime and compared with existing relaying techniques.
