摘要
An account is given on the interplay between liquid crystalline (LC) and thermochromic behavior of dialkyl-substituted poly(p-phenyleneethynylene)s (PPEs) in thin solid films. It is predicted that this behavior will be found in other conjugated polymers in the near future.
