摘要
We discuss the high-frequency conductivity of a quasi-two-dimensional multi-component electron system in cyclotron geometry, where electron-electron interactions naturally influence the cyclotron excitation. The high-frequency conductivity is derived classically in the framework of the Drude model. This approach advantageously allows one to include an arbitrary number of components in a simple manner, and with minor modifications the quantum mechanical Landau-level scheme can be incorporated. We calculate resonance positions and oscillator strengths of the collective cyclotron resonance, and predict a filling factor dependent oscillation of the cyclotron mass in the strong coupling limit from sum rule arguments.
