摘要
An optical on-line residence time distribution (RTD) measurement technique was used in a 50mm and a 30mm corotating twin screw extruder to investigate the influence of operating conditions (throughput, screw speed) and screw configurations on the RTD. Statistical analysis of experimental results was applied to show the quantitative relation between operating condition and mean residence time, to analyze the effects of different screw configurations on the broadness of mixing and to compare their subtle difference.
