摘要
In this article. a high order composite right/left-handed (CRLH) bandpass filter using the first negative resonant mode is presented. The proposed filter employs mushroom structure as CRLH transmission line. To design a high order CRLH filter, the design equations are derived by adopting the design equations of the conventional right-handed (RH) bandpass filter because the resonant property of the first negative mode is similar to that of the first positive mode. The size of a CRLH filter is reduced by 41% when compared with that of conventional RH filter. The measured results are in good agreement with that of full wove simulation.
