摘要
This paper summarizes several years' work on the development of the direct drive for low-lift truck. Two motor types synchronous motor with permanent magnets (SMPM) and transverse flux motor (TFM) and new radial wedge-actuated electromagnetic brake have been designed for direct drive application. Both motors have been produced according to design and their properties have been verified by measuring in laboratory. Direct drive consisting of SMPM and radial electromagnetic brake has been built-in the low-lift truck. Its properties have been verified by measuring directly in lift-truck.
