摘要
Ball bearings are machine elements with a wide field of application. Their functionality depends significantly on design and tribological properties. All the properties and working conditions regarding materials, lubricants, loads, velocities, temperatures, friction, etc. must be carefully chosen to achieve long working life in certain conditions. In order to gain always higher demands bearing properties and their response on certain conditions must be well known and controlled. Therefore, not only theoretical modelling but also testing in real conditions is necessary to achieve satisfactory results, especially due to unpredictable response of the lubricants. In the paper a theoretical model of the ball bearing analyses and a computer program on its basis are presented briefly. More in details own computer-controlled test rig for rolling bearings and lubricants testing in a wide spectrum of working conditions naimed CTD-ML1 is described. Also, some experimental results are presented, confirming the experimental certainty and repeatability.
