摘要
A combination of bulk magnetization, conversion electron Mossbauer spectroscopy, and polarized neutron reflectometry is used to show that in Pd/Fe multilayers at 4.5 K there is a slight (similar to10%) enhancement of the Fe moment at the Pd/Fe interface, and that the Pd is almost maximally polarized, with an average moment of 0.32mu(B) to a depth of about 20 Angstrom from the Pd/Fe interface. The Pd polarization is strongly temperature dependent.
