MODERN FEATURES OF DEVELOPMENT OF HEALTH TOURISM

摘要
This article discusses the current state, characteristics and main trends in the development of health tourism. Wellness tourism industry as a whole turns out to be the line of business, it is highly resistant to general crisis phenomena in the economy and dynamically developing almost regardless of the economic phenomena occurring in different countries. One of the characteristic features that distinguish modern health tourism, is the rapid development of this field in the Asia-Pacific region, especially in Southeast Asia. At the same time, the modern Wellness tourism in General, there is a phenomenon that can be described as a collective, the sintering stage, when the individual health tourism company, without losing economic independence, are combined into various kinds of Community and Association. This enables its companies to not only attract more clientele, but also not to lose customers who are interested in any peculiarities of health tourism. On the other hand, this process must inevitably lead to increased competition between similar organizations in the areas of "cost transfers cost of services the volume and quality of services provision of related services". Another feature and development direction of modern health tourism is the fact that the company and the Association providing such services, are increasingly focusing on risk mitigation Wellness and SPA tourists, and develop applied, de facto, internationally, codes and practices. The concluding lines of the article are devoted to prospects of development of health tourism in Russia.
