A Compact Band-stop Filter Based on Novel Dual Composite Right-/Left-handed Transmission Line

摘要
In this paper, a novel dual composite right-/lefthanded (Dual-CRLH) unit is proposed. Based on the analysis of constitutive parameters, there is a different sign between the effective permittivity and permeability in a specific frequency range, thus a stop-band is produced. Besides, both passbands at lower and higher frequencies are right-handed (RH) bands, which is different from the traditional D-CRLH unit. An implementation of band-stop filter based on three proposed novel units is designed and verified with full-wave electromagnetic (EM) simulations.
