User Guideline for the Development of Safety Applications

摘要
The GMA working group 1.50 specifies a user guideline for the development of safety applications. The proposed development process is based on a hierarchical V-model. We propose in this guideline to use plain text, timing diagrams, interface descriptions, and finite automata as a means for specification. The design however uses function blocks. Using two different views of the system generates diversity and leads to a deeper understanding of the requirements. Furthermore, it allows efficient (partially automated) validation.
