摘要
In this study, the outstanding toughness effect and corresponding mechanism of poly(methyl methacrylate)polybutadiene-polystyrene (MBS) on polyamide 1012 (PA1012) was studied. Both physical entanglement and chemical crosslinking which exist between MBS particle and PA1012 to improve the interface and contribute to the stress transfer were confirmed by rheology characterization. Herman's orientation function based on in situ wide angle X-ray diffraction certified MBS particles weaken the loading stress of matrix as stress concentration points by during the tensile deformation. It was found that MBS particles were conducive to crystallization to maintain the strength, and the transformation of more toughness gamma-form from alpha-form. The syngenetic effects demonstrated substantially-high toughness as well as maintained the original strength.
