Rb2Mn2(SO4)3, a new member of the langbeinite family

摘要
The structure of a new langbeinite, dirubidium dimanganese tris-ulfate, Rb2Mn2(SO4)(3), has been determined and is shown to have cubic symmetry akin to the other members of the langbeinite family. The sturucture contains SO4 tetra-hedra corner-linked to MnO6 octa-hedra, generating a three-dimensional network. The Rb atoms are found in the cavities of this network.
