摘要
We discuss pump requirements for co-propagating distributed Raman amplification. We demonstrate a depolarized pump source with sufficiently low and stable degree of polarization. We demonstrated system benefits with no noticeable problems from pump-mediated cross-talk. (C) 2001 Optical Society of America.
