Using simple geometric and algebraic procedures is possible to associate, to an experimental behavior of exponential nature, a logistic map. This mathematical curiosity can be useful with theoretical and practical applications. This paper present how to establish correspondence between an experimental data set obtained when studying radioactive decay of Iodine -128 and a logistic map. Present too, how to establish correspondence between the radioactive decay constant with the iterations number and with the control parameter of logistic map. All is exemplified through the algorithm used to arrive to this association.
