摘要
According to the China's energy developing strategies, seven large LNG receiving terminals will be built at the end of 2010. Some imported LNG of China is rich LNG, which contains a lot of C-2(+) hydrocarbons. In order to use these C-2(+) hydrocarbons, a new process for recovery C-2(+) hydrocarbons from LNG was introduced in this work. Comparison with the former technologies, the process could not only reduce energy consumption but also has the function of peak shaving for natural gas downstream customers. With the process, the separated C-2(+) hydrocarbons from LNG could be transported to ethylene plant by pipeline as raw materials, it will reduce the cost of ethylene production and decrease the petroleum import of China.
