摘要
A two-dimensional or axisymmetric stagnation flow impinges on a plate moving in its own plane. The no slip condition on the solid boundary is replaced by the partial slip condition. The Navier-Stokes and energy equations admit exact similarity solutions. The resulting nonlinear differential equations are solved asymptotically and numerically. The flow depends heavily on the velocity slip factor lambda. We find drag decreases as 1/lambda and heat transfer increases with lambda, the Prandtl number, and decreased thermal slip.
