摘要
The aim of the research is to analyze the marking of pedestrians and cyclists in terms of their safety in road traffic. For this purpose, the method of diagnostic survey was selected and a survey was conducted among the inhabitants of Poland. There are 16 questions in the survey, in addition to basic questions about age and gender, there are also questions important for the purpose of the study. It contained questions about the functionality of the reflectors, and the recipient could also express his opinion on the obligation to wear reflectors in built-up areas and beyond. Thanks to the respondents being able to describe their feelings and the course of events in which they participated or witnessed them, the author was able to draw appropriate conclusions. Respondents were also asked about the use of floodlights in built-up areas and beyond. Most of them use the various reflective elements available. 52% of women declared the use of reflectors in undeveloped terrain, among men this indicator is shown by 48% of men. The inhabitants of Poland, as road traffic participants, feel jointly responsible for its safety. It should be remembered that from an early age children should be made aware of the importance of using their own lighting or the lighting of vehicles for minors, such as prams and bicycles.
