摘要：
A miniaturized CPW-fed rectangular planar monopole antenna is presented. The proposed miniaturized antenna fulfills both omni-dircctional and low VSWR requirements for ultra-wideband (UWB) technology. Without the radiation patterns worsen in ultra-wideband, the miniaturized rectangular antenna fed by CPW transmission lines also offers three merits such as low radiation loss, unaffected characteristic impedance and simple co-planar fabrication.
